Two of our trishaws are looking extra special ahead of Anzac Day, thanks to the fantastic work of Sale Signtorque.

Featuring bright red poppies alongside the Cycling Without Age Gippsland logo, the new signage is a beautiful tribute to our veteran community and a fitting way to honour those who have served.

We’ve already had the privilege of taking veterans and their family members for rides, and this new poppy livery makes the trishaws even more meaningful.

We’re incredibly proud of how they look and what they represent.

Some snaps from last week’s ride day 📸

Cycling Without Age Gippsland, which was established to help reduce social isolation among older Gippslanders by providing free trishaw rides piloted by volunteers, was delighted to welcome back residents from Ashleigh House (Ashleigh Community Ltd) for a lap around Lake Guthridge and through the beautiful Sale Botanic Gardens.

One of the lovely things about our ride days is that even when the route stays the same, every outing offers something a little different. One of the highlights for both Asheligh House passengers and volunteer pilots was spotting a family of ducks enjoying the sunshine on the lush grass beside the lake.

Tuesday is one of our favourite days of the week because it’s ride day in Sale.

There’s nothing better than getting out in the fresh air, sharing smiles and enjoying the joy these rides bring.

Cycling Without Age Gippsland was proud to welcome members of the Gippsland Veterans Centre community for a special day of trishaw rides in Sale this week.

Our volunteer pilots had the privilege of spending time with local veterans, along with their families and friends, sharing stories, enjoying the fresh air, and taking in the beautiful surroundings. It was a small but meaningful way to say thank you for their service to our nation.

Days like this are what Cycling Without Age is all about: connection, community, and creating moments that matter.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back again soon!
