A key initiative of the Rotary Club of Salamander Bay this year is collecting unused mobile phones to be repurposed for victims of domestic violence, providing a vital lifeline in times of need.
Our club has collection boxes at Tomaree Neighbourhood Centre, thanks to Clare and at Soldiers Point Bowling Club, thanks to Sam.
If you have an unused mobile phone and charging lead, please drop them into one of our boxes after resetting the phone to its factory setting.
Thank you

The Rotary Club of Salamander Bay takes great pleasure in welcoming David Grieve as our newest member, inducted at our esteemed Pride of Excellence dinner following his move from Melbourne. David's Rotary history began in 2014, and he previously held the role of president at the Rotary Club of Doncaster from 2017-18 and District 9715 Polio Coordinator from 2022-23. We are eager to have David join our ranks. Rotary Club of Salamander Bay David Grieve

What a wonderful evening of celebration, connection and community spirit at the Joint Pride of Excellence Awards Night hosted by the Rotary Club of Salamander Bay and Rotary Club of Nelson Bay on Wednesday evening at Nelson Bay Golf Club.

It was a fantastic opportunity to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements, dedication and service of individuals within our community who continue to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Congratulations to all award recipients and nominees — your commitment and passion are truly inspiring.

We were also delighted to welcome members of the newly formed Rotary Club of North Lake Macquarie. We look forward to continuing to build a strong partnership together, particularly in supporting international initiatives across the Pacific Island region focused on encouraging children’s love of reading, learning and education opportunities.

A sincere thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a memorable and meaningful occasion. Together, Rotary continues to create lasting impact both locally and internationally. 💙💛

It was an honour presenting the major beneficiary Women's Healing Sanctuary with the funds of club raised back in March at our annual International Women’s Day dinner. Knowing our hard work will be helping provide 35 women with a safe space to heal fills our 💕
Thank you to everyone who made this fundraising event so successful 💜

We’re so grateful to the Rotary Club of Salamander Bay for their very generous $7000 donation following their International Women’s Day event.

This contribution will fund 35 Angel Stay nights at the Sanctuary, giving more women the chance to rest, reset and feel supported during a time they need it most.

To everyone involved in making this event possible, thank you. Your support is creating real, tangible impact for women in our community 💚💚

If you’ve ever wondered how you can make a difference, our Angel Program is one of the ways this support continues to reach women when they need it most.
