Nepean Multicultural Access - NMA NMA offers support services to Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities and individuals in the Penrith local government area.

We organise and deliver information sessions, provide skill development programs and participate and organise local community events. NMA works with individuals on a one to one basis to assist them with their settlement process and to access available and relevant services.

💜 CARING FOR OUR CARERS for NATIONAL CARERS WEEK 2026 💜

🌸 What a wonderful day at the Carers Pamper Day at Colyton Community Centre yesterday!

We connected with other carers, enjoyed some well-deserved pampering and recognised the extraordinary contribution that carers make every day.

💜 With more than 20,000 carers across the Penrith LGA, it's important to recognise the often unseen work, compassion and love involved in caring for our family members.

🎨 A special highlight was the We Care Project, a beautifully embroidered wall hanging which expresses what it means to give and receive care (see group photo)

👏 Thank you to Community Junction for hosting the day, and to Carer Gateway Wellways and everyone involved in bringing the We Care Project to life.

🤝 It was also a pleasure to welcome Penrith Mayor Todd Carney and see him connecting with Fa'aalu at the community stall (see seated photo)

📸 The photos by Krystyna Pollard captured the spirit of the day — connection, appreciation and community support.

🌷 To every carer in our community: your dedication matters, your contribution is valued, and you deserve care too!

🎉 First Aid Training for our Multicultural Mothers Group! 🩹❤️

What a great day of learning! On 18 September 2026, more than 15 busy mums came together at St Marys Community Centre, St Marys Corner to learn valuable basic first aid skills. 👩‍👧‍👦⛑️

👏 A big thank you to Sandeep from Lead College, who delivered the training with skill and care, supporting local mums build their confidence to respond in an emergency.

💜 This training was provided FREE of charge thanks to the generous financial support of The Areebah Foundation, working in partnership with Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District, LEAD College and Nepean Multicultural Access Inc (NMA).

🌟 NMA listened to the mothers in our community and supported them to learn essential new skills and to build their confidence!
