🌏✨ We celebrate Refugee Week 2026 ✨🌏

We kicked off with an Acknowledgement of Country from Stephen Ainsworth, district manager of Aboriginal mental health services at our local health district, who set the tone for a day full of culture, connection and joy at St Marys Memorial Hall 🙏

🎶 And what a show it was:
💃 Indian & African dance groups – Oxley Park Public School students in the spotlight
🎵 "We are One" – Penrith Refugee & Migrant Playgroup melted hearts
🥁 Drumming from Colyton Public School students AND the NMA Drummers
💃 Bollywood beats that had everyone up and moving
🎤 Turkish songs from Kubra and Veli Toprak, who turned the hall into a dance floor!

Huge thanks to every performer, speaker, volunteer and community member who made today unforgettable 💙
