When Did You Last Actually Check In With Yourself?

Not with someone else. With yourself. Your shoulders, your jaw, your gut. Right now, are you tense? Tired? Running on fumes? Most of us are so busy managing everything around us that we forget to notice what our own body is quietly trying to say.

That tension in your neck, the brain fog that won't lift, the tiredness that sleep doesn't seem to fix. These are signals, not complaints. Your body keeps score even when your mind tells you to push through.

This week on the walk, we're asking a simple question: What is your body telling you right now? No diagnosis needed. No deep dive required. Just a chance to slow down, move side-by-side with others who get it, and maybe notice a few things you've been too flat-out to pay attention to.

If you've been meaning to show up, this is your week. New faces are always welcome. No need to book, no pressure to talk, no judgment from anyone. Just turn up as you are, whether you're feeling great or running on empty.

Boundaries Aren't Walls. They're the Gate You Finally Learned to Close.

Somewhere along the way, a lot of us were told that saying no, pulling back, or putting a limit on what we give is selfish. That's a lie worth unpacking on a walk.

Whether it's switching the phone off after 8pm, stopping the free overtime, or finally telling someone in your life "that doesn't work for me anymore" - setting a boundary is one of the quietest, most powerful things a person can do. And sometimes just hearing someone else has done it first is all the permission you need.

If you've never come along before, here's what you need to know. No booking. No agenda. No pressure to say a word if you don't feel like it. Just a group of real people walking side-by-side, talking about the stuff that actually matters. New faces are always welcome.

ONE THING. JUST ONE.

---

The week's nearly done. The lists, the obligations, the mental load of holding everything together for everyone else... it stacks up. But when did you last do one thing, just for you?

Not a grand gesture. Not a holiday. Just one small thing this weekend that fills your cup a little. A walk. A coffee in peace. Fixing that thing in the shed. Sitting in the sun for ten minutes without your phone.

We're going to talk about that this week, side-by-side, on the move. No agenda, no pressure, no judgment. Just a bunch of people being honest about what they actually need for themselves, and maybe finding the guts to actually do it.

---

New faces, you are always welcome here. You don't need to book, you don't need to talk, and you don't need to have it figured out. Show up, fall in step, and see how you feel. That's it.

Someone once told me: "You don't have to figure it all out today. Just get through today."

Simple. But on the days when the weight of everything felt like too much, that one line cut through the noise.

We all carry a piece of advice somewhere in the back of our minds. Something a parent said. A mate at the right moment. A stranger who had no idea they'd just changed your week. we're walking and talking about exactly that: the words that have actually stuck.

No textbook stuff. No motivational poster nonsense. Just real people sharing what has genuinely helped them get through the hard patches. You'd be surprised how much a single sentence, passed person to person on a walk, can land for someone who needed to hear it.

If you're new to the group, here's what you need to know. There's no booking, no sign-in sheet, and zero pressure to say a word if you don't feel like it. You can just show up, fall into step beside someone, and listen. That's it. New faces are always welcome and you'll never be put on the spot.

We walk side-by-side. That's the whole setup. No circles, no formality, just movement and conversation at whatever pace suits you.

WHAT ARE YOU GRATEFUL FOR RIGHT NOW?

Life gets loud. The bills stack up, the to-do list never ends, and it is easy to forget that there are still good things happening right in the middle of all of it.

This week on the walk, we are keeping it simple. One question. One answer. No wrong responses. Just a chance to slow down, put one foot in front of the other, and share something that is actually going right. You might be surprised how much lighter you feel after saying it out loud to someone walking right beside you.

New faces, you are more than welcome this week. No need to book, no need to talk if you are not feeling it, and absolutely no pressure to share. Just show up, fall into step, and see how you go. There are no circles, no clipboards, and no awkward icebreakers. Just people walking side-by-side.

You Don't Need to Have It All Figured Out to Show Up

Life moves fast. The to-do lists stack up, the noise gets louder, and somewhere in the middle of it all, we forget to check in with ourselves. Not in a "sit quietly and meditate" way. Just in a "how am I actually going" kind of way.

Walking side-by-side with others has a way of cutting through the mental load. No agenda, no performance. Just movement, fresh air, and honest conversation that reminds you who you are underneath all the busyness. That's where real personal growth happens. Not in a course or a retreat. On a footpath, next to someone who gets it.

If you've been thinking about coming along but haven't taken the step yet, this is your sign. You don't need to be going through something big to show up. You don't need to talk at all if you don't want to. New faces are always welcome. Just rock up, walk with us, and see how you feel. No booking, no pressure, no judgment.

If you've been thinking about grabbing a Walk It Off hoodie or beanie, now's the time.

Our hoodies are currently on pre-order, with orders closing Wednesday 22 July. This will likely be our last hoodie order until next year, so if you want to secure yours, don't miss out.

Our beanies are available while current stock lasts. Once they're sold out, they'll move to back order, so order soon if you'd like yours without the wait.

Thanks for being part of the Walk It Off community. We can’t wait to see more of you wearing your hoodies and beanies at your local walks, and everywhere in between 🖤🩷

Who Would You Invite to the Table?

There's something about a good question that cuts through the noise. "If you could grab a coffee with anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why?" It sounds simple, but answers like that reveal a lot about what matters to us, what we're chasing, and who we admire. That's the kind of conversation worth having out loud, side-by-side, moving through the world instead of staring at a screen.

Life piles up. The week gets heavy before you even realise it. A walk with good people and a question worth answering is one of the simplest ways to lift your head and feel a little more human again.

If you've been thinking about coming along but haven't made it yet, this week is a great week to show up. No need to book. No pressure to talk if you're not feeling it. Just turn up, put one foot in front of the other, and see what happens. New faces are always welcome, and nobody will make you feel like the odd one out.

Three words. Eight letters. World of difference.

"How are you ACTUALLY doing?"

Not the autopilot "yeah good mate, you?" version. The real one. The one where you pause, make eye contact, and genuinely wait for the answer.

This week's WIO challenge is simple: ask three people in your life how they are actually doing, and really listen. No fixing, no advice, no checking your phone. Just listen. You might be surprised what comes back when people feel safe enough to be honest.

Here's the thing though, most of us are carrying more than we let on. Financial pressure, family stress, work grinding us down. We get so good at saying "fine" that we forget what it feels like to be actually heard. A walk side-by-side has a funny way of loosening that up. No eye contact required, no circle to sit in, just movement and a real conversation happening one step at a time.

New faces, this one's for you too. You don't need to know anyone. You don't need to book in. You don't need to have your story sorted before you show up. Just turn up, walk alongside us, and see how it feels. No pressure. No judgment. Full stop.
