⛵️⛵️ SAIL DAY INCOMING! Saturday 30th May! ⛵️⛵️

After a few weeks off the water for fundraising and training, we're back on the water this weekend - Saturday 30th May @ 0830.

Rug up, come on down and enjoy the shenanigans! ...And thanks to our recent training upgrades we'll be running through a whole host of new drills and exercises (oooh!....exciting! 😲)

Another amazing weekend of learning and development for some of our club members who completed their Dinghy Instructor Course at Deviot Sailing Club!
We're proud to say that we now have 5 qualified Dinghy Instructors in our club, all ready to teach the next generation of young (and young-at-heart!) sailors!
Thanks to our awesome instructor Nick Neale, Deviot Sailing Club for hosting us and to Australian Sailing - Tasmania for making it all happen.
And, of course, a big congratulations to Skip, Don, Kerry, Remy and Nath!!

No sailing this weekend...BUT!...it was a HUGE weekend of learning and up-skilling for an awesome bunch of people from our club. 😊 Thanks to the support of Australian Sailing - Tasmania and Instructors Barry McIndoe and Ben Great batch, we now have more than 10 qualifies safety boat operators and 6 people on the pathway to becoming qualified dinghy instructor.
WHOAH! 🤯🤯🤯
And what a magical weekend to be on the water! Happy people all round!

The AGM and following Committee meeting was really productive- with some fantastic ideas being raised, along with great energy surrounding the future of the club.

⛵️ ⛵️ SAIL DAY + AGM INCOMING!!!: Saturday 18th April!! ⛵️ ⛵️

We're back on the beautiful waters of Georges Bay from 0830 this Saturday for more sailing and water hijinx!!

We'll also be holding our Annual General Meeting this week after sailing (aiming for around 1300-1330ish, depending on conditions).

If you have something that you'd like to suggest for the club, or if you'd like to join the Committee (🙏 please, please, PRETTY PLEASE!!!), let us know on the day!

Hi Everyone,

This is just a quick notice to all members that we will be holding our AGM on Saturday 18th April, 2026 at around 1330. This is our next Sail Day, so start time will depend on how sailing goes for the day!!

We welcome, request and unashamedly beg ALL MEMBERS to come along, have some input about the future of the club and get involved by joining the Committee or sticking you hand up for a specific role!
