🌟 Happy Friday, everyone! 🌟
I had a dream to take a little bit of Australia to my village and somehow connect the 2 worlds.
I'm always excited to share a little bit of that journey that many of us embarked on together over the past 7-8 years—a journey of building a High School for the bright, spirited children in my remote village in Nepal. It was one of the most challenging yet rewarding tasks I've ever undertaken. Countless sleepless nights, navigating funding uncertainties, finding the right people for the job, and weathering the storm of Covid shutdowns. But looking back now, with the gift of time and perspective, every ounce of sweat and every beat of heart palpitations - it feels worth it.
🌍 Witnessing our entire community come together, celebrating, bonding, learning, and co-creating joyfully fills me with immense pride and joy. 🌍
I'm delighted to announce that we're changing countless lives for the better. Here are some highlights:
🏫 A state-of-the-art school now stands proudly.
📚 Enrollment numbers have skyrocketed from 175 to 425 kids.
📝 An astounding 90% of these children are the first in their families to read and write.
🙌 70% of our students belong to the untouchable caste.
👧 Remarkably, 65% of our students are girls.
💰 99% of our students hail from households earning less than $1000 per annum.
🚶♂️ A staggering 50% of the kids endure a daily trek of at least 2 hours to reach school, with 30% enduring a 4-hour journey.
💪 Despite their challenges, 99% of our kids tirelessly assist with household chores.
🏥 Every child has access to healthcare, thanks to our dedicated health nurse.
💻 Sadly, none of our students yet have laptops or access to computers—working on it.
🎓 I'm elated to share that we already have many graduates pursuing diverse fields such as IT, engineering, nursing, teaching, and forestry, with a remarkable 0% dropout rate. And the cherry on top? Wifi has finally arrived! And kids and their parents love going to school

Grit is the bedrock of our journey. It's about never giving up on the people and dreams we hold dear.
💡 Adversity has been my greatest teacher. Through my fair share of trials—failures, heartbreaks, disappointments, and tears—I've learned invaluable lessons that no university degree could impart. It's taught me humility, strength, hunger, grit, compassion, and so much more. 💡
Ultimately, our mission is to create global talents and forge connections that transcend borders.
Now my next challenge is how do I bring a little bit of my village to this great country. 💪
