Hello all
It's been a long time since I've posted anything,so I thought I should get my act together and write something. The bus ministry is going along quite well, client numbers are staying much the same (although now we are stopping in the mall in Hobart we are getting a lot of the uber eats delivery people frequenting our serviice). We would like to find a a more suitable spot to stop as we've found that our regulars aren't as keen to come, and don't seem to hang around as long for a chat..Any ideas or suggestions?.
As usual our volunteers are a marvellous bunch of people who go well above what is expected of them often bringing along something to give away. So. a humongous thanks to all of them
We have lots of people who volunteer to make our soups, that's not only make it but supply all the ingredients..I must tell you all that your soups are very well received and l hear a lot of praise and thanks from those we meet.
As most of you know by now our service is not supported in any way by government and is funded solely by the donations and support of those in our community. And so again a humongous thanks to all who over the years have supported our service. That includes all those we don't see who quietly do things behind the scenes .
As I've said we do have some of the best volunteers you'd ever meet, but some of us are getting on a bit, some are not as well as we'd like, and some have other commitments, and so l would like to put it out there, that if you would like to commit to becoming a volunteer for a night once a month, please feel free to contact us.
Also our serviice is always greatful of any monetary help/donations we can get.Our bus and fittings are getting quite drab. Thanks again to all those that do help us.Maybe you may have some suggestions to raise some funds
Again (you can't say thanks to many times can you?)mighty big thanks to all of you. God bless
