SPARC - Southern Peninsula Amateur Radio Club SPARC is an active, community-based club for amateur radio, communications and electronics enthusiast. Prospective new members and visitors are most welcome.

Members meet each Thursday and Saturday from 9:30 am until 12:00 noon with special lecture events and activities monthly
SPARC conducts regular courses and assessments for all levels of Amateur Radio Operator Certificates.

Members conduct a 2 meter net each Sunday at 9.30 am via VK3RSP Mt Martha (146.675 MHz). VK3RSP is sponsored and maintained by SPARC as a service to Amateur Radio operators. SPARC also provides a free access IRLP Node, 6330 connected via this repeater. HF Radio Net Weekly, Tuesday Nights at 20:00hrs (8pm) on 80 Meters 3.640Mhz LSB +/_ QSB
SPARC provides a range of stimulating, enjoyable activities including field days, public-relations events, practical construction sessions. SPARC enjoys close working relationships community groups, and participate in a range of community activities.

BAREC are planning a big weekend in Bendigo, when they host the 2025 WIA Annual General Meeting and Convention, on the weekend of May 3rd and 4th. BAREC will stage a huge TechFest and giant Car Boot Sale, at the Bendigo Exhibition Centre, on Sunday, the 4th of May. Details and information about the Techfest/Car Boot Sale will be posted at Hamfests Australasia Group (HAG), as soon as they become available. Another excellent forum to catch at this Sunday's SPARC Rosebud RadioFest. Doors open at 10 am into the big auditorium, but tickets are on sale from 8 am and outside displays kick off at 8 am, also.
