✨ From New York to Sydney, our Kambala community is making waves in global finance! ✨

Last week, NY-based alumni stepped out for a truly historic evening. The Australian Consulate-General in New York hosted ‘Australia at The Met’ to celebrate the spectacular re-opening of the Michael C. Rockefeller Wing-which now features a dedicated space for contemporary First Nations Australian art at

As always, Linden Global Strategies Founder and CEO, Josephine Linden AM '69, very kindly brought ‘the kids’ from the office along for the glamorous black-tie affair! 🥂🇦🇺

📸 L to R: Helena Hu '13, Josephine Linden AM '69, Karen Robson '74, and Anna Paspaley (safely adopted as an honorary Kambala Girl for the night!). An incredible evening for NYC, for Australia, and for Kambala. 💛☀️

🌱 Welcoming the Next Generation The excitement continues back in the office! This week, Linden Global Strategies officially welcomed their new KOG Summer Intern cohort. In the weeks to come, keep an eye out for more news and photos of Alice Malcolm '23, Georgina Beer '21, and Neve O'Neil '23..all seen on our KOG Linden Fellows/Interns Catchup Zoom with special guest speaker Michelle Guthrie '83 this morning! 👋

🌸 A Beautiful Window into the Past: The Elizabeth (Spong) Glover Collection 🌸

We are looking back at a wonderful piece of our history! From the Elizabeth (Spong) Glover (Class of 1964) collection, these photos offer a precious glimpse into her childhood and school days.

Take a trip down memory lane to 1953 with these two lovely moments:

⏳ Stepping Back into 1914

A captivating glimpse into the past from the collection of Constance White.

These beautifully preserved photographs, dating from around the First World War era (circa 1914–1918), offer a rare, intimate look at daily life, friendship, and quiet moments of a bygone era.

The grand architecture shows our historic Tivoli building, standing proud in all its glory. Looking out from the estate, the atmospheric photograph labeled "Moonlight" captures a breathtaking, serene view across Sydney Harbour, complete with a masted vessel anchored in the shimmering water.

From peaceful harbour vistas to candid moments of students knitting, laughing, and knitting on the grounds. Each image carries a profound sense of history, place, and connection. Swipe through to step onto the grounds of Tivoli over a century ago.

📸 The Collection Highlights:
• Image 1: The magnificent Tivoli standing proudly above its sprawling lawn.
• Image 2: Prefects, 1914. Mollie Dangar, Phyllis Stephens and Constance White.
• Image 3: A special moment captured on the grass featuring three students and Nurse Wilson, the school nurse, posed in front of the Studio.
• Image 4: The view from Tivoli with a ship on the Harbour. The caption below reads "Moonlight".
• Image 5: An afternoon spent sitting together and knitting on the Tivoli steps. This may have been for the soldiers in World War I.

Step into 1963!

This is the 5th Year class page from a special memory book produced in 1963 for Principal Fifi Hawthorne. The book’s dedication hoped to bring her "happy memories of 1963"—and looking at these faces and names, it’s safe to say it did exactly that. 📜✨

We wish all Archives Happy this week from the Laurie White Archive! 📜✨

Established in 1987 by the Kambala Old Girls (KOG), our archives are a true treasure trove of Kambala history, celebrating generations of strong, amazing women. From vintage school uniforms and historic photographs to the first handwritten School Annual from 1895, these pieces tell the story of the ever-evolving nature of education for Kambala students and staff.

In 2018, the room was named to honour Laurie White 48, an incredible woman who truly understood the value of preserving our past while building for the future.

Today, we celebrate the unique stories, achievements, and cultural identity of the remarkable women who connect Kambala generations from 1887 to the present day.
