Virtual 24 hr Soccer Marathon to raise much needed funds for Oncology, Neurology and Heart Centre at The Children's Hospital at Westmead! We are in our 9th year of Kicking Goals For Sick Kids Soccer Marathon event and The Children's Hospital at Westmead still needs our help!! The Children's Hospital at Westmead has done an outstanding job during these difficult times and need these funds more than
ever. We are sad to say that unfortunately due to COVID-19 we are unable to hold our event this year, however, we are hoping that our sponsors, family, friends and teams would still like to support us in raising much needed funds for Heart Centre for Children, Children's Cancer Research Unit and Neurology Department at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. Over the last 8 years, the event has contributed over $684,000 to The Children's Hospital at Westmead and this year we are once again supporting Heart Centre, Oncology Research and Neurology departments. This year we are still hoping to raise over $100,000 for the hospital. The utilisation of funds are agreed with each department. This event is fully endorsed and supported by The Children's Hospital at Westmead. Please see attached letters from each department. This event is unique because ALL proceeds/donations from the event go directly to the hospital. Everything is donated; the facility, food, marketing, t-shirts, show-bags and various other items. We have no running costs. This is not a foundation. This is not only about raising money for a great cause, but about kids learning to support other kids.
