Yesterday, Lions Club of Roma Queensland was honoured to again host the annual Seniors Month lunch in conjunction with Maranoa Regional Council.
More than 50 of our Seniors sat down to a barbecue lunch at the Den prepared by Lions and friends to celebrate the occasion.
The cake was cut by Audrey Bell who was the most experienced community member present.
Seniors are such an important part of our community and it was a pleasure to hist them again this year.
Thanks MRC for allowing us to be part of this great event.

After a few busy weeks, some of the Lions took the opportunity to have some personal time and visited Mt Abundance for morning tea on Saturday morning.
A great time re-visiting local history and enjoying some fellowship.

Thankyou Roma !!
What a fantastic community we have. It was great to see how many families came to our park reopening tonight.
The park looks amazing, the movie was popular and hopefully everyone enjoyed their fish, chips and donuts.
Thanks to Lexi and her coffee van and Bessie's Ice-creams and Susie Klein who provided added beauty with her face painting.
Of course a big thankyou to Maranoa Regional Council who provided funding to make such a great community asset that can be enjoyed for many years to come.
