Wings over Warrego attended by RAC members Dusty, Lloyd, Col, Grant & Danny in C172, Arion Lightning & C182 with past President Dallas & his son Mark in Rockwell and Lloyd's son Kim in Dusty's Lightning. Great day had by all.

With 17 hours in command on his Extra 300L, Col - roma aero club member, entered in the Qld Aerobatic Championships. On day 3, he flew Watts Bridge to Caloundra, picked up President Dusty who had flown the Tecnam to AMS, then flew Caloundra to Roma, Ground Speed 166 kts, then Roma back to Watts Bridge GS188 kts, then competed in his aerobatic segment. total 3.8 hrs. Starting to get the hang of the aircraft now.

Rod Flockart carrying out his flight display at Pacific Airshow Gold Coast 2026 in his Extra EA300S with Peter Marris as ground crew. Rod and Peter are Flight Instructors on Extra EA300L VH-WFX at Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield for selected Pilots.

Col flew his Extra 300L to Roma for the Aero Club monthly meeting and took President Dusty for a short flight which included flying inverted and aileron and barrel rolls. Dusty, to his credit, handled the Aerobatics well.

Rod Flockart's new LAME Hangar at Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield. Workshop setup is a work in progress. Meanwhile it is home to 3 Extra Flugzeugbau GMBH Aircraft. The red XTR is a EA300S, which Rod will use to do an aerobatic display at Pacific Airshow Gold Coast 2026. The blue and yellow is a EA300L available for training and the blue and white Is an EA300L owned by a Roma Aero Club member.

Young Peter arrived with his dad, Denis, for the Roma Aero Club meeting, in style, in his new R22. Aero Club President Dusty with his young German Shepherd Nyx welcoming them.
