One Community Together

One Community Together One Community Together is a collective of residents, community groups and organisations in Clarence Plains Tasmania.

What we do:

One Community Together formed in 2014 to build on the work of local organisations and community members in Clarence Plains. To expand on the good things happening in our community and work together on some of the challenges. We bring the Clarence Plains community together to share ideas, concerns and vision for our local community; and create opportunities for everyone to work together for the community we want. We work in teams, guided by a steering committee.

Hey everyone, for those who like to run, jog or walk, we're gathering a group together to launch a regular Parkrun in our local Clarence Plains community. We're currently looking for an enthusiastic Co-Event Director and a team of volunteers to help get it off the ground. Let us know below if you're interested in helping out, and we'll be in touch.

Happy National Volunteer Week!! We would like to thank the amazing One Community Together Landcare team.

From maintaining the Community Bush Tucker Garden and planting trees, to being involved in community garden events, working with students from Clarendon Vale Primary School and caring for the GROW garden, our Landcare group continues to make a huge difference.

Your passion, knowledge and commitment is outstanding. Thank you.

If you would like to be involved, the group meets every Wednesday at 11am in the GROW garden which is located between the Clarendon Vale Neighbourhood Centre, the Clarence Plains Child and Family Learning Centre and Clarendon Vale Primary School. You don't need to know anything about gardening, just drop in for a cuppa and a chat (and usually cake) and see how the garden grows.

The group is currently harvesting vegetables that were planted at our Harmony Day event which then go to the Clarence Plains Community Food Hub- "food grown for the community by the community".

A child's jacket was left behind at the Grace Centre after our awards celebration the other night. If its yours you can pick it up from the Grace Centre. They've placed it in the foyer for you :)

We had a small little top left behind at the Awards ceremony on Wednesday evening. It's in the foyer at the Grace Centre so if it belongs to one of your kids just drop down to the Centre and you can grab it.
