Yaandina Community Services is searching for a Maintenance Officer located at our Turner River facility, just outside of Hedland.

If you're passionate about helping others and creating meaningful change, this could be the perfect role for you!

About the Role:
- Responsible for the management and overseeing the outdoor areas and building at the Turner River facility
- Maintain an external environment, coordinate contractors and undertake some handyman and maintenance tasks as necessary
- Participate in some programs that include providing skills training and mentoring

What We’re Looking For:
- Sound knowledge of safe work practices
- Strong problem solving and customer relation skills

Essential Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role
- Current Police Clearance
- Cert III (or higher) in maintenance management and/or relevant trade qualification
- Driver’s License

- Deliver high quality, person-centered and culturally appropriate care to clients
- Support clients to maintain their health and wellbeing and live independently in their homes

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with people with intellectual and physical disabilities
- Experience dealing with older people including those with dementia related conditions

Essential Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role
- Current Police Clearance
- NDIS Screening
- Driver’s License
