💜✨ A FIRST FOR ROCKINGHAM! ✨💜

This DLD Day, we are incredibly excited to see the Rockingham Foreshore lit up purple for the very first time in recognition of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD)!

Rockingham Foreshore will join landmarks across Perth and around the world in lighting up purple and yellow to help raise awareness of DLD and celebrate the millions of people living with Developmental Language Disorder. 💜💛

For our Peel Language Development School community, this is such a special moment. Seeing our local community shine a light on DLD sends an important message:

Language matters. Understanding matters. 💜

So on DLD Day, look towards the Rockingham Foreshore and join us in celebrating DLD awareness, acceptance and understanding.

Peel Regional Academy of Sports will be hosting The Butterfly Foundation this August to deliver an important webinar for Parents and Care-Givers of Adolescent Athletes.

BodyKind Sports for Parents webinar provides parents and caregivers with information and strategies relating to body image and disordered eating in sport and offers guidance that aims to empower and strengthen the knowledge base so they can support their adolescent athlete to be Body Kind.
