Groovy Mood Food produces handmade gelato to sell at markets, community events and in some local CQ stores. Groovy Mood Food Program - Participants in the Groovy Mood Food program will gain experience in a diverse range of tasks in a functioning small business, including: planning, budgeting, handling money, marketing, food safety, hygiene, cooking, sales, and the list goes on. Groovy Mood Food is

an initiative of Home Support Association (HSA) - Registered NDIS Provider. Our Vision - A community that values people with a disability and supports their participation in everyday life. HSA has operated as a not-for-profit service provider since 1993 within the social and community sector in the Rockhampton region.

There’s a new face at the Puppy Gelato Stand—and he’s got four paws, a wagging tail, and a serious talent for scooping frozen treats!

Once a disciplined guard dog with a no-nonsense attitude, this Doberman traded in his patrol duties for an apron and a dream: to bring joy to pups everywhere, one scoop at a time. He’s precise, polite, and passionate about perfect portions. His gelato stand is spotless, his flavors are legendary (peanut butter swirl, anyone?), and his customer service? Impeccable.

He’s got the heart of a hero and the soul of a softie—but there’s just one thing missing…

🐾🍦 Meet Frosty & Coco – The Sweetest Team at GMF Gelato! 🍦🐾

Introducing Frosty the Border Collie and Coco the Cane Corso – best friends, gelato enthusiasts, and the mascots of the GMF Pup-Friendly, Gelato stall! 💚

Frosty, with his boundless energy and clever charm, has been part of the GMF family since he was a pup. He’s the brains of the operation – always ready to greet customers, sniff out the best flavours, and share a scoop with his furry fans. 🐶✨

Coco joined the crew not long after, bringing her calm, gentle presence and protective instincts. She’s the muscle behind the gelato stand (and the cuddles), making sure everything runs smoothly while keeping an eye on Frosty’s antics. 🐾💪

Together, they’ve become inseparable – sharing gelato, making new puppy pals, and spreading joy wherever they go. Whether it’s a sunny day at the markets or a busy weekend at the Pet Expo, Frosty and Coco are always ready to serve up smiles (and maybe a lick of gelato too!).

Keep an eye out for more of their Pup-Friends and an opportunity to name one of the pups!

🎉 Exciting News! HSA’s Groovy Mood Food stall is heading to the Pet Expo at the Rockhampton Showgrounds in the Robert Schwarten Pavilion on Saturday, 6 September! Alongside our delicious gelato (yes, even pet-friendly options!), you’ll spot a few adorable new characters making their debut around the GMF stall. Keep an eye out over the coming days as we introduce them—and you might even get the chance to help name one or two of these cuties! It’s all part of the fun, flavour, and community spirit brought to you by Home Support Association. 🐾🍦✨
