🧪✨ Something exciting is bubbling away at the Mount Archer State School Community Hub… 🎈🔬

We’re very excited to introduce something NEW for our Hub families! Each month, we’ll be creating a fun take-home, toddler-friendly STEM Kit designed for little scientists and their grown-ups to explore together at home. 🧑‍🔬💡

And our very first experiment is launching this Monday…

What happens when a little science meets a little magic? You’ll have to grab a kit to find out! 👀🧪

Our STEM Kits are all about encouraging curiosity, experimenting, learning through play and spending some special time together - with simple activities perfect for little hands.

We’re excited to introduce our Homemaker Swap, starting this September at the Mount Archer State School Community Hub! 💙💛

Do you love baking, crafting, creating or making? Bring along 5 homemade items and swap them for 5 wonderful creations made by others - absolutely no money exchanged! 🙌

🍞 Homemade breads, cakes & treats
🍓 Jams, preserves & goodies
💎 Handmade jewellery
🎨 Artwork & crafts
🧶 Knitted or crocheted creations
🕯️ Candles & handmade homewares
🌱 Homegrown or homemade goodies
✨ Or anything else you’ve made yourself!

It’s all about sharing skills, meeting others, reducing costs and celebrating the amazing talents within our community. ❤️ Bring along your little ones to have a play in the Hub too!

🧸🎨 A Big Thank You to Councillor Hilse! 🎨🧩

The Mount Archer State School Community Hub would like to extend a huge thank you to Councillor Hilse for his incredibly generous financial support of our Hub. 💙💛

Thanks to this funding, we have been able to purchase a wonderful range of brand-new educational toys, games and activities for the children and families who visit our Community Hub and attend our weekly Playgroup. 🌈

These new resources will provide even more opportunities for our little learners to play, create, explore, learn and connect - and we can’t wait to see them being enjoyed! 🧸🧩🎨📚

Support like this makes such a meaningful difference to our Hub and the families within our community.

🎨✨ Little hands, BIG creativity at the Mount Archer State School Community Hub! ✨🎨

Just look at some of the wonderful creations our little artists and their families have been making at our Monday Playgroup! 💕 Every week, the Hub is filled with colour, creativity, learning and plenty of smiles.

Our playgroup gives children the chance to create, explore, play and learn through lots of fun, hands-on experiences - from arts and crafts and sensory play to games, toys and activities designed for curious little minds. 🖍️🧩🫧

And it’s not just for the kids! Playgroup is a wonderful opportunity for parents, carers and families to connect with others, meet new people and become part of our Hub community. 🥰

🌈 Come and join us every Monday at the Hub, from 9am. New families are always welcome, so come along, say hello and see what we’re creating next!
