ROCKHAMPTON FUTSAL

After a 6 year absence, Australian Futsal Association, the largest futsal association in Australia, is returning to Rockhmapton.
Australian Futsal and its
ancestors have operated since 1987,and have clubs and staff in every state of Australia. With over 48000 players and 40 full time staff Australian wide they provide to their members all facets of the game. This stretches from running local club competitons, regional, state and national tournaments, school regional tournaments, merchandising of futsal equipment, coaching and refeeeing courses and overseas tours for representative teams.
The local Rockhampton competition will be run by Calvin Lynch, well known to many people, and besides running the local competition Calvin will also be selecting Rockhampton representative teams to attend tournaments. At this vess School Title, Central Queensland teams will be selected to attend the National School titles in September.

The Australian Futsal Association (AFA) is Australia's National Futsal Governing Body. AFA provide a complete player pathway, from local competitions to State Titles and Leagues, followed by National Championships and finally the chance to represent Australia at international tournaments.

Introducing our Technical Director, Head coach & coordinator Cal Lynch. Cal is a local outdoor coach who over many years has coached junior and youth players at club and representative football. Cal has maintained if FA accreditation across Futsal, Miniroos, Skill Certificate Game Training, Senior Certificate as well as Coerver Diploma I. He is very much looking forward to encouraging young players to try the sport perhaps for the very first time and welcomes players to enjoy the games in company of their friends.
