formed in 2013, and in 2016 was given Deductable Gift Recipient Status by the ATO. The charity was developed after seeing local village children playing with infected leg wounds and the community having inadequate health care enabling effective wound healing. This vision of aiding less fortunate communities by offering health care in a tropical location by visiting qualified health care profession

als instigates a healthier future for time forgotten communities. In order to deliver the most appropriate health care to the community the following five elements guide our vision:
1. Treat - provide medical & health care and advice for immediate
relief
2. Resources – providing supplies to improve health care, health
services and first aid to health facilities, communities and schools
3. Partner- we partner with the Vanuatu Govt and other
organisations, and work alongside new community mentors to
empower sustainable localised health care
4. Build– We work to build stronger communities. This includes
assisting with the building of infrastructure, community
development projects and when necessary (or appropriate) civil
works to ensure access to services. This charity has no limits, and we always welcome new ideas! If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference, then we would love your help. Trips of this nature have the capacity to change lives. Join us, and together we can make a difference. Please e-mail us for further information or to become a member: [email protected]

May 2026 Working Holiday has been cancelled.

We are sad to announce that due to the war and fuel shortages, and being unable to confidently ensure our teams travel, additional costs and so many unknowns, we have made the hard decision to cancel this working holiday.

All the supplies for this working holiday are in the shipping container which is safely in Port Vila with Enneth and the Vanuatu team, and will be there ready for our team when we consult with the team and new dates are set.

Some of those donations will be able to be distributed by our Vanuatu team now, so thank you.

We thank you all for your kindness and generosity as we continue to work together to create a healthier future for remote Vanuatu.

Hey Family and Friends, in a couple weeks I'll be flying over to Vanuatu on one of our annual working holidays. However with shipping and transport costs going up, we need your help so that our small team can achieve what we need to achieve on Tanna Island.

This trip is critical as we'll be doing mobile health clinics to villages, delivering women’s health packs, running an emergency birthing workshop, and delivering care packages for mums, babies and families.

This is really close to our hearts, and with these additional costs it is important we ask for help from our community to make it possible.

If you’d like to help, we’d be so grateful. Every gift, big or small, helps make this possible and becomes part of the care we’re able to give.

URGENT REQUEST for support:
With the current fuel and supply chain challenges, our travel costs for the May Working Holiday are well above budget. We are determined to reach those in need on Tanna, and so we appeal to you our community for assistance to help cover costs. We have begun a GoFundMe page to make giving more convenient, and thank and bless you all in advance for your help.

Thank you to Rhys Yasso, Travis and Mum & Dad for helping us sort, move and pack the container! And huge thanks to Shaunie Cora for the lend of the truck🤩 It saved us do much time! We only have an hour left to go and we are done! Again, thank you to all those who have given and helped in every way! And goodness, thank you again Ollie Wikeley, our shipping agent, who has been especially patient with us this time with the sudden choice to ship next week to avoid the unavoidable increases in shipping costs. Thank you for the advice, and supporting us though the documentation. We are so grateful.

Stolen Washing Machines replaced with new🥳

Massive thank you to Hodda Electrical Services!

Following the unfortunate event of two donated washing machines being stolen from storage in Rockhampton over New Year, this week we received a huge blessing of two washing machines for our Maternal and Infant Care initiative, donated by Doug from Hodda Electrical Services. Ross Hodda (BH volunteer) and Declan Hodda picked up the washing machines from JJ Kerr, who also contributed by discounting the machines. We are so grateful to you Doug & JJ Kerr's Appliance Centre! Cant thank you enough! 🙏🏾 🇻🇺 🥳 And thank you Ross & Declan for solving the storage issue till it’s ready for shipping!
