Stitch and Chat Inc. Stitch and Chat inc, is a Rockhampton based craft group with 65-70 members who meet weekly on Mondays and Thursdays at the Athelstane Bowls Club.

Members share their passion for arts and crafts in a friendly and social environment.

Stitch & Chat is well and truly up and running again.
We meet each Monday and Thursday from 9am to 12noon at Athlestaine House.
Joining fee $15 per annum. $5 each attendance. This is to cover expenses eg; rent on venue, insurance, morning tea etc.

A challenge quilt (mystery quilt) was organised for the Stitch&Chat members at the beginning of 2025. The quilt was a ‘scrappy’ with a plain contrast background colour. It was suitable for all sewers including beginners. The scraps were to come from your existing stash of fabrics. Instructions were given in monthly stages.
