CapRescue Rapid response and helicopter rescue in the Capricorn Region.

In life and death situations it’s comforting to know CapRescue is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. RACQ CapRescue is a vital, life-saving service, providing the fastest and most efficient means of rapid deployment of medical and rescue teams to major accidents, incidents, inter-hospital transfers, counter disaster and search and rescue missions in the Central Queensland region.

Remember Cree Papalii W300, the bull sporting our (digitally added 😉) Rescue300 brand? Well, he's certainly done his bit!

Following the recent Cree Santa Gertrudis Annual Sale, Shaun and Jo McGuigan have generously donated $8,000 to CapRescue!

Our volunteers Greg and Don were on hand to accept the donation, helping keep Rescue300 ready to respond across Central Queensland.

🎓 Graduating This Year? Or Taking a Gap Year?

CapRescue BlueSky Partner Jellinbah Group, together with the Queensland Minerals and Energy Academy (QMEA), is offering two university scholarships valued at $14,000 each!

The first two recipients were both from Emerald, showing just what opportunities are available to students right here in Central Queensland.

Open to eligible 2025 and 2026 Year 12 graduates from QMEA partner schools pursuing university studies in STEM fields relevant to the resources sector.

It's great to see our partners investing in the next generation of regional talent! 💙

📍 Saturday, 4:30am | Emerald
A three-year-old girl was flown to Rockhampton Hospital ahead of onward travel to Brisbane for specialist care.

📍 Saturday, 8:41am | Carmila
Flooding prevented ground crews from reaching a man in his 60s experiencing breathing difficulties northwest of Carmila. Rescue300 landed at a nearby helipad before flying him to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.

📍 Saturday, 11:09pm | Blackwater
A man in his 30s was airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital for ongoing medical care.

📍 Sunday, 8:45pm | Blackwater
A man suffering a medical episode was flown to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.

The faces on shift may change, but the dedication remains the same. Aeromedical care, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at no cost to patients.

💙 15,000 Reasons for a Feel Good Friday! 🐴🚁

Now that's a way to finish the week!

A huge thank you to the Springsure Working Horse Association, who visited our hangar yesterday to present CapRescue with an incredible $15,000 donation!

Funds were raised through the association's annual Campdraft, Cutting and Fundraiser event — a fantastic show of support from one of the farthest reaches of our region. 🤠

Yeppoon Lions Tropical Pinefest is back this weekend, and there's more than $11,500 in prizes up for grabs in this year's Pinefest Raffle!

With over 30 draws, tickets are just $2 each or 3 for $5, with CapRescue proud to be one of this year's beneficiaries. 🚁

🚁 WEEKEND WRAP-UP | A Saturday Spent Helping Central Queenslanders

From Moura to Dingo and Emerald, Rescue300 responded to three patients needing aeromedical care on Saturday.

📍 Morning | Moura
A woman in her 80s was airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital for further assessment after suffering a fall.

📍 Afternoon | Dingo
Rescue300 was tasked to Dingo following reports of a man in his 20s experiencing seizures after a vehicle accident. The crew landed at the local showgrounds before the patient was flown to Rockhampton Hospital.

📍 Evening | Emerald
The final task saw a man in his 40s transported by air to Rockhampton Hospital after suffering a chest injury in a dirt bike accident.

All three missions were tasked by Queensland Health, with CapRescue providing its 24/7 aeromedical service across Central Queensland, at no cost to patients.
