During National Carers Week, we recognise and thank the people caring for a loved one approaching the end of life.
Palliative carers often carry enormous responsibility, balancing medications, appointments, personal care needs, meals, cleaning, paperwork, and family responsibilities. Many become advocates, companions, and caregivers all at once. There is little space left to rest, reflect, or attend to their own needs.

Spring is blooming in our garden. 💐🌺🌼
The African Marigolds out the front are particularly sweet.

Thank you to Tony, our wonderful mowing volunteer, for keeping our lawns looking lovely, and to our W**d and Feed volunteers for their monthly working bees that keep our gardens looking their best. The next W**d and Feed is scheduled for Sunday 1 November starting at 8am, if you would like to come along. 🧑🏼‍🌾🪏🏡

Due to some tech gremlins over the weekend, the Caulfield Cup Luncheon hosted by Fitzroy Community Hospice Auxiliary appeared to be sold out but that isn't the case.

Congratulations to all the prize winners in the Auxiliary’s Father’s Day Raffle that was drawn last month! 🎁 We're you one of the lucky 12? Sending a super-sized thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and supported this raffle. 🙏

An enormous thank you also goes to our amazing Auxiliary team for the time, effort and enthusiasm they continue to put into supporting our community. Their tremendous efforts have raised over 🌟$𝟒,𝟓𝟎𝟎🌟 in the past month alone! This is an incredible achievement and a wonderful reflection of the commitment and teamwork behind the scenes of this dynamic volunteer group.
