Rockhampton parkrun parkrun is a free, timed, 5km run/walk @ the Botanical Gardens, 7am every Saturday morning.

https://www.parkrun.com.au/rockhampton/ parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5km timed run, jog or walk. It can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. Rockhampton parkrun offers an opportunity for all members of our local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy our beautiful Botanical Gardens and get physically active in the process. We want to encourage people to walk, jog or run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE! Taking part is easy:

- Register (free, easy, once only) online at rockhamptonparkrun.com.au
- Print the barcode emailed to you
- Set your alarm for Saturday morning and get yourself (and your barcode) to parkrun!

This year, parkrun is proud to support the Daniel Morcombe Foundation and Day for Daniel, Australia’s largest day of action for child safety awareness.
parkrun have invited us to take part in parkwalk for Daniel on Saturday 31 October by wearing red at our event and showing our support for child safety.

The weather is warming up and the Garden Tearooms will kindly continue to hand out donated Zooper Doopers to CHILDREN at Rockhampton parkrun.

Sometimes the promise of a Zooper Dooper is what's needed to get the kids over the line in the warmer months.

To keep this initiative going, DONATED Zooper Doopers can be dropped into the Garden Tearooms at anytime.
