Bangladesh Society of Sydney Inc.-BDSS Bangladesh Society of Sydney Inc. (BDSS) is a non-profit social organization working for wider multicultural community in Sydney.

Bangladesh Cultural School (BCS) is providing Bengali education as a additional language to the Bangladeshi community. Bangladesh Cultural School , Rockdale has language program in each Sunday assisting students learn and use "Bengali" as additional language and connects young Australians to the language, heritage and culture of their community. The main aim of this school has always been languag

e and cultural maintenance. We are extending our supports to the families from outside to maintain the language, mainly to the new generations who require to understand traditions and cultural practices. Our teaching programs are designed in such a way to assist our kids on developing better cognitive thinking skills including metalinguistic and metacognitive thinking. Our young children learn about and become proud of their community language background and cultural traditions. Variety of school programs throughout the year benefit our kids to be more social, vocational with having a good understanding of their
cultural heritage.
