There is no rewind in real life - make sure when using electrical items such as straighteners, hair dryers, laptops and phone chargers, that we are not putting them on soft surfaces and turning them off when finished.

The weather is cooling down, and if lighting up a fire pit is in your weekend plans, be safe!
πŸ”₯ First check if Fire Restrictions are still in force in your area, and make sure you know the rules
ℹ️ Never leave a fire unattended, and always you have plenty of water on hand to extinguish it when you are done.

You can't smell smoke when you're asleep πŸ˜΄πŸ’€
All smoke alarms in your home should be interconnected - this means that no
matter where a fire starts - all alarms will sound.

πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ National Reconciliation Week πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ
From 27 May to 3 June, we come together to celebrate National Reconciliation Week β€” a time to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to reconciliation in Australia. 🌏✨
This year's theme invites us all to reflect, connect and take meaningful action towards a more just and united nation. πŸ€πŸ’¬
Take a moment this week to:
πŸ“– Learn about the history of the land you live and work on
πŸ‘‚ Listen to First Nations voices and stories
🌱 Reflect on the steps we can all take towards reconciliation
🎨 Support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, businesses and communities
Reconciliation is everyone's business. πŸ’› Let's walk together. πŸ‘£

βœ…Keep items that can burn, such as clothes horses, at least 1m away.
βœ…Extinguish open fires before leaving home or going to sleep.
βœ…Always supervise children near open fires.
βœ…Ensure ashes are cold before discarding.
βœ…Only burn dry, clean wood.
