We love it when our GDG Board Members get on the road and have the opportunity to visit our project partners. James and David from our Australian Board have visited projects in Laos, Bali and PNG recently.

The team had a great visit with the Malaysian CARE team in Kuala Lumpur recently. Malaysia Care is one of our newest partners, it was a pleasure to meet with them and visit the programs we are supporting.

It was a pleasure to recently visit with our long term partner Crossroads Foundation in Hong Kong. They do an incredible job redistributing high quality goods to countries around the world, including other GDG partners!

Empowered women, empowered communities!
At Global Development Group, 38% of our in-country partners are led by women. Last year, during our monitoring trip in Cambodia, we had the privilege of meeting some inspiring examples of female leadership firsthand.

Yesterday, we were pleased to welcome Craig and Charlie to the GDG office from J1272N Empowering Youth Kibera Country.

Together we are working to improve the quality and continuity of education for students at St Johns Community School in Kibera by covering essential school operating costs, daily nutritional meals and providing scholarships for top-performing students over the next three years.
