✨ Meet our 2026 - 2027 Executive team! ✨

Every July Toastmasters around the world celebrate a very special tradition - our Executive Team Changeover! The beginning of a new Toastmasters year, where a dedicated group of members step forward to serve, support and help our club grow.

This brilliant bunch of members have kept our club running for the past year, earning us the top award possible for clubs (of 134 clubs in Queensland, only 6 clubs achieved this!)

Greer and Liang have shared the role of Sergeant At Arms, making sure our room was set up each meeting, and bringing "the box" - all of our club belongings (like our lovely blue banners pictured!), and calling us to order at 7pm sharp.

Trevor managed all of our finances, dealing with the bank and chasing up member renewals.

(Missing - Liz who kept all of our records and minutes in order!)

Thomas made sure we had a steady stream of new people visiting our meeting and discovering Toastmasters.

Ryan helped those visitors feel a little less overwhelmed by giving them info packs and making sure they were sitting with a new buddy, and helping them onboard as members.

Clyde put together our meeting every fortnight, making sure everyone had plenty of opportunity to improve.

And Valu, our leader, held us together as our President. Her grace and humour were so appreciated when she opened and closed all of our meetings.

The whole team came together to help our club serve its members, thank you so much for helping us grow!
