📢 Playgroup Update.... Sessions Cancelled This Week

Due to the severe hot weather expected this week, RDHS has made the decision to cancel all Playgroup sessions. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of families, your children, and our staff.

Please take care during the heat, keep cool, stay hydrated, and avoid being outdoors for long periods.

🌼 Playgroup Is Back for 2026! 🌼
We’re excited to share that Playgroup is starting up again on Wednesday 28th January for the year, and we can’t wait to welcome all our little friends (and their grown‑ups!) back for another fun term of play, connection, and community.

✨ Important Update – New Venue
This year, Wednesday and Thursday playgroup will be held at our new location:
📍the Early Years Cubby - RDHS Playground

Everyone is welcome, returning families and new faces alike!
Come along for free play, craft activities, story time, and a chance for parents and carers to meet and connect.

Enrolments are now open for HIPPY 2026!

• Is your child starting three-year-old kinder this year?
• Is your child expected to start school in 2028?
• Do you want to give them a head start to their education journey?
Join us for this fun and FREE program!

HIPPY is a two-year, home-based program which supports you and your child in preparing for school. It aims to build a love of learning and support parents and carers to be their child’s first teacher.
The program is delivered through fortnightly home visits with activity pack delivery in the first year and then weekly in the second year. Our mentors are mindfully matched to their families and will support you throughout your two-year journey. We offer translations if required and aim to meet you where you are and deliver the program in a way that suits your family.
