🤔 Why Workshops in Bathurst? 🤔

Take the opportunity to provide your workplace or even the wider Bathurst community with a chance to learn something new by hosting your next workshop here at OCTO! 💚

A workshop can introduce a new concept, spurring participants to investigate it further on their own, or can demonstrate and encourage the practice of actual methods 🗣🧠📚

It's a great way to teach hands-on skills because it offers participants a chance to try out new methods and fail in a safe situation! 🙌✨

📸 Shooting With Umbrellas 📸

🤍 White Umbrellas usually diffuse, or spread, light - they’re typically placed between the light source and the subject, softening the light ✨

🖤 Black Umbrellas are often lined with reflective material and work by directing and magnifying the light onto the subject 🔍

Curious on what it takes to set up a Photography Studio? 🤔

Your first studio space is almost always a spare room in your home or an emptied-out garage 🏠

Ideally, you’ll be able to keep your equipment set up, but if you’ll need to break it down between shoots to use the space for something else, know that going in so you purchase the best gear 👍📷✨

This works fine, but there are several considerations to keep in mind 💭 OCTO offers an alternative if you're lacking in space or time to set up and break down your gear 💚 Reach out to the OCTO team if you're interested to learn more! 📱
