Mid North High Rainfall Zone Group A cropping trials field site undertaking research into broadacre farming and grazing practices to benefit local farmers and the agricultural industry.

The group undertakes research into broadacre farming and grazing practices in the Mid North higher rainfall cropping areas through their trial site. Trials involve testing new crop varieties, chemical treatments and fertiliser usage. Members, consisting of local farmers, agronomists and agricultural retailers are provided with results on these trails and entry to field days and other events. Updat

es on other topics of interest are also provided to members with information on industry issues as they arise. MNHRZ recently installed an onsite weather station which provides live local weather information for members. The group runs through the support of sponsorship and membership.
