June BIV – Day 1 Begins
Our cadets have stepped off into the field for the June BIV, and the energy is high as training gets underway.
This morning was all about getting packs checked, moving into the training area, and establishing their harbour. Cadets have already been hands‑on with the basics of fieldcraft — setting up hoochies, learning to manage their equipment, and getting comfortable working in a field environment.
Throughout the day they’ll rotate through lessons on camouflage, movement, observation, and teamwork, building the skills they’ll rely on for the rest of the weekend. Spirits are strong, the teamwork is solid, and the cadets are already showing great discipline and enthusiasm.
A big start to what’s shaping up to be an awesome training weekend.
