Join us for a fantastic evening this Saturday night at Ridgewood Hall! We will be hosting a Bush Dance that promises to be an energetic event filled with lively music played by the talented bush band, Billy T. Bring the whole family for a delightful night of dancing, laughter, and community spirit. Mark your calendars—you won't want to miss this exciting event! The Annual General Meeting (AGM) and General Meetings for the Ridgewood Hall Committee are scheduled to be held on Thursday, October 1st, at 6:00 PM at The Ridgewood Hall.

All current committee members will be resigning from their positions, and we will conduct a vote on new nominations.

We are particularly seeking nominations for the role of Treasurer, as our present Treasurer will be unable to continue in this capacity. If you are a member of the public who wishes to join a dedicated team of volunteers committed to serving our community, please do not hesitate to contact us for further information regarding the responsibilities associated with this position.

The Ridgewood Hall Committee would like to announce the next Bush Dance, to be held on 12 September 2026.
There will be a supper break, and we will have plates to share. Please feel free to bring a plate to share as well. The more, the yummier! 😋
Tea and coffee will be available free of charge on the night. We will have soft drinks for purchase. Please bring cash.
Entry: $10; under 18 free.

As locals would know, this Friday evening is the Ridgewood hall community BBQ, starting at 1800hrs. This occasion is extra special as the Ridgewood community’s long serving Fire Warden, Victor Hill has officially retired and to honour his years of dedication a special presentation from Rural Fire Service Queensland will take place. We would love a great community turnout to thank Victor for his dedicated community service.
Whether you can stay for the evening and catch up with neighbours or just drop by to thank Victor, your presence would be greatly appreciated.

Ridgewood Hall is grateful to the Noosa Council for their ongoing financial support, which helps us keep the Hall in great shape. The August/September 2026 edition of the "Round the Ridges" Magazine is now available on the website. Should you be unable to obtain a hard copy, you may simply download it from our website at https://www.roundtheridges.com/newsletter. Or read it online.

We anticipate Charles' Sourdough Bread workshop scheduled for this Saturday, 1st August. Although it has been fully booked this week, additional sessions will be organised in the future; please stay alert for upcoming dates.

Furthermore, if you have an innovative idea for a community workshop that you are willing to lead, the hall committee would be pleased to hear your suggestions. We are eager to increase the frequency of community workshops such as this by utilizing the hall more regularly.

And we are also looking forward to the upcoming bush dance in September. Stay tuned for that one. It should be a great one!
