has been in existence for all most sixty years established in the early 1950s by a number of dedicated photographers led by the first president Stan Stevens. Our Club offers a great deal to both the newer and the more experienced photographer, we provide monthly competitions for prints and projected images. Each month our members enjoy a varied and stimulating programme of guest speakers, photographic competitions, practical and innovative sessions to promote the beneficial exchange of ideas. Our members’ interests cover a wide and varied range of the photographic spectrum; they range from beginners to professional photographers both of whom use the newer digital or the traditional film cameras.

📸 November is our last month of club meetings for 2026!

We’ve got a fantastic month ahead at Hawkesbury Camera Club, with guest speakers, workshops, our AGM and Image of the Year, and of course our End of Year Dinner & Presentation! 🏆

Come along, get involved and help us finish the year on a high!

We look forward to seeing everyone before we take a little break and return in the new year.

📸 MEET TONIGHT’S JUDGE – ROBIN MOON 📸

We’re delighted to welcome Robin Moon as tonight’s judge at Hawkesbury Camera Club!

Robin lives near Sydney Harbour with her husband, Tim, and discovered photography as a way to unwind from a demanding career.

Her photography is all about finding the lighter side of life and immersing herself in the natural world. Whether she’s getting muddy in the dirt, waiting for hours in the blazing sun or braving the freezing cold, Robin loves the adventure of being out in nature.

Animals are her greatest passion, particularly their unpredictable behaviour and ability to make her laugh out loud. Through her images, Robin hopes to share that same joy and connection with others. 🐾📷

Robin is a Sony Digital Imaging Advocate and enjoys sharing her passion for photography through workshops and educational days, covering everything from photographic techniques and equipment to post-processing.

We look forward to hearing Robin’s insights and seeing our members’ images through her eyes tonight!

📸 CHILDREN’S WARD COMPETITION TOMORROW NIGHT! 💙

Tomorrow night, Hawkesbury Camera Club opens its doors to some very special guests students from our local primary schools, who will take on the important role of becoming our judges! 👩‍⚖️👨‍⚖️

Our members have entered their best images, but this time, the final say belongs to the children. 🥰

Every selected photograph will be professionally printed by Harvey Norman and then donated to Windsor Hospital, where the images will be displayed in the Children’s Ward for the next 12 months. 🏥📷

It’s a wonderful way to combine our love of photography with giving back to our local community and we can’t wait to see which images our young judges choose!

Good luck to all our members, and most importantly, welcome to our judges! 🌟

🌌 Programme Update! 📸

We’ve had a slight change to this Wednesday night’s guest speaker, and we’re excited to welcome Jay Evans!

Join us as Jay takes us on a journey through the fascinating world of Astrophotography. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve your night sky images, you’ll pick up plenty of tips, techniques and inspiration.

Jay is also a Sony Advocate, so if you’re a Sony shooter (or simply curious about the system), there’ll be plenty of insights to enjoy.
