The world is their oyster - Lulu and Rosie with their brand new passports!!!
At MITS, we support our senior students to obtain their passports - an important milestone that opens the door to future opportunities. A passport is more than a travel document; it’s a key piece of identification that allows young people to engage more fully in life beyond MITS through further education, employment and more. By supporting students through this process, they are taking a powerful step towards independence a world of possibilities 😊

This National Reconciliation Week, the theme is 'ALL IN' - a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.
It reminds us reconciliation is not a spectator sport, and that each of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change.
At MITS, being 'ALL IN' means showing up every day to celebrate our students, their communities, and our local First Nations communities here in Naarm.
Reconciliation Australia also reminds us reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians, building communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures and futures.
This week, we invite our community to lean in, listen deeply, keep learning, and walk alongside First Nations young people and families.
Let’s be - today and every day.

It's National Volunteering Week with and the volunteers at MITS are some of the best. They support our students in so many ways (homework, a ride to footy, weekend activities, reading in the classroom to name a few!). Thank you to all the volunteers that help MITS be a home away from home for our students.
