The Secret Garden Community Hub The Secret Garden & Nursery, One Mile cafe and Mate's Shed is a not for profit disability service run by North West Disability Services.

We are open to the public Mon to Sat. We are located on Clydesdale Lane Western Sydney University, Richmond NSW The aim of our garden is to provide people of all abilities the opportunity to be involved in horticulture therapy in a safe and educational environment. The plants for sale in our nursery help to provide a source of income for this program. We are on Clydesdale Lane, Richmond on the WSU

Hawkesbury campus. We are open Monday to Saturday 9am to 4pm. The cafe is open 10am to 2pm. For further information visit www.secretgarden.org.au or just drop in for a look around!

We have partnered with FF&E , a Sydney based enterprise who source new homes for items from business’s going through a refurb…. Check out these amazing pots they sent last week!
This is right up our alley, recycling, reuse and repurpose…. Love it!!
Some will be potted up show you some ideas, others sold as is… they are a fibreglass product so nice and light!

Our little thrifty nifty op shop has been going gangbusters! So much so we are getting low on stock!
We take kitchen and homewares, small furniture only, garden tools and terracotta pots, groovy 1950’s concrete pots, crockery, Tupperware and saucepans!
The older and weirder seems to work for us…. Retro china, homewares even better in its original box!
No clothing shoes or handbags sorry!
Huge credos to Jenny and Cheryl who give their time to keep it all looking great, unpack stock and source cupboards to put it all in!!

Spend a Saturday with your hands in the earth 🌿

Our Homemaker's Earthworks Workshop is a full day of making mudbricks from scratch - mixing, moulding and building simple wall sections - right where Secret Garden's own earth buildings have stood for over a decade. No experience needed, just clothes you don't mind getting muddy.

Led by EBAA architect Ray Trappel. Tea and lunch included.
