Richmond School Of Arts

Richmond School Of Arts Richmond Literary Institute (established in 1861) is an iconic heritage venue in the heart of historic Richmond, NSW.

Administered on behalf of the local community, it is dedicated to access for all. Richmond Literary Institute and School Of Arts' founding President was George Bowman. The Auditorium has hosted many luminaries and been the gathering venue for this community for almost 150 years. The theatre has hosted the local Richmond Players theatre group for almost all this time. The Players are believed to be

the longest continuous community theatre group in Australia. It has undergone substantial refurbishment to provide several excellent rooms for hire to serve various requirements, including cabaret, lectures, parties, and celebrations. The RSOA remains the most competitively priced venue in the area, deliberately enabling community access and initiatives as per it's Charter.
