Our Carer Support Services
Centre based support at 283 Church St Richmond is available Monday-Friday 830-5pm. Activities include:
-Out & About program - lunches out, movies, exhibitions, picnics, BBQs.
-Exercise groups including yoga and Tai Chi
-Indoor Bowls
-Painting and drawing
-Cards and jewellry making
-Cooking
-Flower arranging
-Music therapy
In-home activities
Support is available from 8
am-5pm Monday-Friday, some evenings and weekends.
-Social support and interaction
-Outings to shop, coffee, lunch, movies, walking, medical appointments
-Completing household chores together
Who is eligible? If you care for a family member or friend over the age of 65, or under 65 with a disability, and you live in the City of Yarra, Darebin, Boroondara or Stonnington,
The person you care for must be registered for NSIS or My Aged Care. Our fees
We offer subsidised and fee-for-service health care with private health insurance rebates available. The cost of services depends on your income level and we will help you access the funding you are eligible for such as My Aged Care and the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Ask us how we can help you! Pensioner: $15 per day includes lunch and centre based respite or three hours of in-home respite. An additional $15 applies for outings. Non-pensioner: Full fees apply but are income tested.
