This course was born out of the realization that though we teach our children many important things, we usually miss out teaching them how to handle emotions, how to cooperate, work in a team, and how to be a leader. Hence the name: All Round Training in Excellence. Through fun and games the children learn skills and techniques that help them to become more confident, natural and relaxed. They als
o become more aware of the importance of simple human values such as compassion. For this they learn valuable lessons in sharing with others, working and playing in harmony, and develop a sense of belonging with everyone. Activities such as making a new friend every day, and random acts of kindness make them aware of the needs of others and the community they live in. As part of the course they spend an afternoon doing some voluntary work, not only does this enhance their sense of social responsibility – but they also realise that this can be fun too! Simple yoga and a powerful breathing technique, gives them the ability to handle stressful situations, and combat negative emotions like, anger, fear or anxiety. From the very first time the children practice these simple yet effective techniques, many of them report an increased sense of well-being, a happier outlook, and improved sleep. The human values component of the program features “The Five Golden Keys to Success”. These are five major attitudes that children are given as practical tools for managing their daily routines, especially when faced with challenging situations.
