Take in the wetland and river scenery along the Bookmark Creek Trail in the Riverland.

This easy 3.5km circuit is suited to walking, running and off-road cycling, making it a great option for individuals and families looking for a relaxed outdoor adventure. The trail follows the top of the flood bank before looping around the wetland, with flat terrain and an optional dry weather route along the way.

Keep an eye out for native vegetation including red gums, black box, salt bush, reeds, lignum, melaleuca and samphire grasses as you explore this peaceful Riverland setting.

Difficulty: Easy
Terrain: Flat
Suitable for walking, jogging, trail running, cycling and mountain biking.

What a lovely morning we had at our Bookmark Creek Community Birdwatching and Wetland Walk! 🌿🦆

We had a fantastic turnout, with attendees enjoying beautiful weather and an informative talk on environmental watering.

Thank you to everyone who attended, it was wonderful to see such great community interest and support for our environment!

What a great morning we had completing some track maintenance!

We mowed weeds that have grown from the recent rain, trimmed overgrown bushes and lignum along the track, and trimmed the reeds surrounding the boardwalk to allow better access.
