RECONCILIATION WEEK
Ramble Arts is ALL IN for reconciliation! This morning Sam, Kirste and Tanaya joined in on the National Reconciliation Breakfast event at Berri Regional Secondary College. We listened to stories and hopes, watched cultural performances, and commitments to the ongoing journey of reconciliation from community in a powerful morning of connection and honesty.
Through partnership with Our Town Berri, we’ve been able to continue our Pondi program for young Aboriginal people and their families - with Daniel Giles, Kirbie Giles, and Katisha Jackson leading the way. The impacts of this program are immense and we’re so proud to support it.
Ramble Arts is located on Erawirung Country. We acknowledge the First Peoples of the River Murray and Mallee Region, the Ngaiawang, Ngawait, Nganguruku, Erawirung, Ngintait, Ngaralte & Ngarkat people, the traditional owners of the land.
We pay respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people connected to this region.
Our home on the river connects us all, this is the Country in which we live, work, play, and create. Ramble Arts walks alongside the First Nations young people of this region and let their curiosity lead the way.
