Please note that this month’s Kosmos Kitchen cook-up has been rescheduled.

📅 New Date: Tuesday 23rd June
⏰ Meal Collection: 12:00pm – 3:00pm

Meals will be available to take home on the day during collection hours.

We are excited to officially call the Chaffey Community Centre its forever home within the Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc. family. 💙

For the past five years, we have had the privilege of managing this incredible community hub and working alongside local residents, volunteers, community groups, and service providers who make it such a special place.

This milestone reflects our long-term commitment to the Riverland and ensures the Centre can continue to grow, support local initiatives, and provide a welcoming space for everyone.

Thank you to Renmark Paringa Council and the wider community for your ongoing support. We look forward to an exciting future together.

CBS Inc. is proud to announce the purchase of the Chaffey Community Centre, securing the future of this much-loved community hub for generations to come.

For the past five years, CBS Inc. has proudly managed the Centre, working alongside local residents, community groups, and partners to deliver inclusive programs, support services, community events, and initiatives that make a real difference.

Home to important services such as Foodbank, Kosmos Kitchen, Salvos Bread, and the Riverland Christmas Appeal, the Chaffey Community Centre continues to be a place where people feel welcomed, connected, and supported.

This investment demonstrates our long-term commitment to the Riverland community and creates exciting opportunities to expand services, strengthen community connections, and support more people to achieve their goals through employment, education, NDIS supports, recreation, and community participation.

We would like to thank Renmark Paringa Council for their collaboration and support throughout the management and transition process.

We look forward to continuing to work with the Riverland community to ensure the Chaffey Community Centre remains a vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming space for everyone.

The Chaffey Community Centre would like to say a huge thankyou to Helen and Co from the Salvation Army Riverland. Helen had received these wonderful donations of clothes from Good360 and Big W and of course as always thought of the Chaffey Community Centre. The Community members will be so grateful for the donation, we have a large amount of children’s clothing to give away.
Helen we love the partnership we have with you as well, we just couldn’t provide this service without you and your team.

Kosmos Community Kitchen cooked up a storm recently at the Chaffey Community Centre. On the menu spaghetti Bolognese with 80 serves being made. Vegie Bake with 65 serves being made. And a very yummy Vegan Banana Cake with a whopping 144 serves being made. You are all legends we are so grateful to you all.
Volunteers on the day were Elsa Loulas, Adrian Parker, Rosa Albanese, Susana Chliaras, Julie Magourilos, Dora Maniatis, Dimitria Zahos, Christine Economopoulos and Antonia Glykos.
A special thankyou to Koula Spanos, Dimitra Zahos and Helen Elle for their kind donation of produce on the day.

The Chaffey Community Centre is excited to have the lovely ladies from Carers SA her today at the centre. Please feel free to pop into the centre and have a chat with Emma and Mayra. They will be able to answer any questions that you may have about being a carer and how you can be supported as well.
