In honour of the passing of Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammad Ishaq Fayadh and the late Sheikh Muhammad Juma Asadi, Imam Jumu’ah of Quetta, Pakistan, a commemorative gathering was held this evening at Muhammad Rasulallah Islamic Centre (PBUH) in Sydney, Australia.

The program was attended by respected scholars, representatives of Islamic centres, community leaders, and members of the faithful, who came together to pay tribute to the knowledge, dedication, religious service, and outstanding legacy of these two esteemed scholars.

We pray to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant them the highest ranks in Jannah and to reunite them with the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Ahlul Bayt (AS), and the Ma’sumeen (AS). We also extend our heartfelt condolences to their families, students, and loved ones, and pray that Allah grants them patience, strength, and abundant reward during this difficult time.

Muhammad Rasulallah Islamic Centre (PBUH) sincerely thanks all scholars, representatives of Islamic organisations, and community members whose presence contributed to the dignity and spirituality of this gathering. We pray that Allah (SWT) grants everyone continued success, good health, and tawfiq in serving Islam and the Ahlul Bayt (AS).

May their souls rest in eternal peace, and may their legacy remain forever alive in the hearts of the believers.

AAHYA’s 2026 Eid Al-Ghadeer Program !

We were so blessed to host our annual Eid Al-Ghadeer program this year again at the Australian Afghan Hassanian Youth Association. This special day marks when the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) appointed Imam Ali (A.S) as his successor, a powerful and meaningful moment in Islamic history.

It was such a beautiful atmosphere filled with faith, unity, and community spirit. We had an incredible Qur’an recitation by Qari Sayed Ali Raees, who blessed everyone with his recitation.

Our young students from the NSW Hassanian Community Language School recited poetry that added so much meaning to the night.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sheikh Mohammad Baqir Hussaini for blessing us with his lecture and inspiring words.

We pray Allah (SWT) gives us the chance to gather again next year and continue celebrating this important day together, insha’Allah!

On behalf of the Australian Afghan Hassanian Youth Association, we proudly extend our sincere Eid al-Adha greetings to our entire community. We pray this blessed occasion brings peace, happiness, and countless blessings to every family.

May Allah accept the prayers, sacrifices, and acts of worship from all believers. May our Qurbanis be accepted, and may we continue to grow in faith, compassion, and sincerity in all that we do.

This year, our community came together once again for the annual Eid al-Adha prayers at the Muhammad Rasulallah Islamic Centre. It was a meaningful and heartwarming gathering filled with unity, gratitude, and reflection as families and friends celebrated this sacred occasion together.

As part of this year’s Eid celebrations, AAHYA was privileged to provide special gift bags to newly arrived migrant and asylum seeker youth, helping make their first Eid al-Adha at Muhammad Rasulallah Islamic Centre a memorable and welcoming experience.

We also extend our deepest appreciation to Sheikh Arif Wahedi for honouring us with his presence and leading the Eid prayer. A community breakfast was shared following the prayers, creating another beautiful opportunity for connection and togetherness. May Allah continue to bless him and allow our community many more gatherings filled with faith, unity, and peace.

2026 Australian Afghan Hassanian Youth Association – Eid al-Adha Qurbani Round 3!

As the humanitarian and economic crisis in Afghanistan continues to impact countless families, the Australian Afghan Hassanian Youth Association (AAHYA) is proud to announce the successful completion of Round 3 of our Eid al-Adha Qurbani distribution program.

This round reached several vulnerable communities across Afghanistan, delivering fresh meat to families facing severe hardship. For many, this was the first opportunity in a long time to share a proper meal with their loved ones during Eid.

Through the dedication of our volunteers on the ground and the generous support of our community in Australia, we were able to continue bringing relief, dignity, and hope to those most in need.

We sincerely thank every donor, supporter, and volunteer who contributed to making this initiative possible. Your compassion continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many families.

May Allah accept everyone’s Qurbani and charitable efforts, and may this blessed occasion bring peace, unity, and blessings to communities everywhere.

From all of us at AAHYA — Eid Mubarak!
