It's a Soul Food tradition to make Funny Face Cookies in team colours for Redwood Park Sports Day, and we're so excited to be carrying on that tradition!
We've donated over 150 Funny Faces to be sold as a school fundraiser at Sports Day today. We love supporting our local community in this way...and may the best team win! 😎

As we step into 2026 we’d like to thank everyone who’s been a part of our community connections in the past year. Here are a few highlights ☺️

- We have continued to meet on Sunday evenings for our community dinner (The Table) in the Redwood Park PS staff room, and were able to share our Christmas Table meal with 34 people.

- We took opportunities to connect in with the Redwood Park PS community by helping out on Sports Day in April (including providing lots of sweet treats for the fundraising stall), blessing all the staff with goodie bags and encouragement during mid-year report writing in May, and catering the ‘thank you’ morning tea for school volunteers in November.

- Our Community Meals Program continued with a number of people joining in to learn to cook and build some confidence. Through partnerships with Pathway at Clovercrest and The Salvos at Modbury our program provided hundreds of free meals to people doing it tough, and we also supported some families within the school community with meals as well.

- We enabled some local organisations to give donations of bedding, hand-knitted warm clothing and groceries to Baptist Care SA, making deliveries in to the Westcare Centre nearly every week.

We look forward to growing connections further in the year ahead…our team may be small but our hearts are big! 🩷🩷🩷
