Centennial Parklands Foundation

Centennial Parklands Foundation Our purpose is to ensure your Parklands are enjoyed now and by future generations by inspiring connections that bring people, parklands and ideas together

Centennial Parklands is one of the most historically and socially significant public spaces in Australia, being the site of the inauguration of the Federation of Australia, and providing critical open space for an increasingly dense and growing urban population. As a public parklands, the three Parks provide an important environmental, social and economic benefit for the community. More than 30 mi

llion visits are made here every year for a wide range of events, activities and recreational opportunities. There is a perception by the community that Centennial Parklands' operating expenditure is covered by the NSW State Government, through taxes that our visitors pay. But the reality is that Centennial Parklands is self-funded for its day to day running costs and depends on Centennial Parklands Foundation to seek donations, sponsorship and philanthropic contributions for projects that would otherwise not be possible. We need your support to ensure that Centennial Parklands is here for future generations to enjoy as we do today.
