NUJP releases policy reviews on libel laws and Right to Information in the Philippines

The National Union of Journalists of the Philippines (NUJP) launched policy reviews on libel and cyberlibel laws and proposed Right to Information (RTI) legislation, highlighting key issues affecting press freedom, freedom of expression, and the public’s right to know.

The IFJ Asia-Pacific stands in solidarity with NUJP’s call to decriminalize libel and cyberlibel and strengthen protections for press freedom.
