Thank you to all of the incredible young people who came along today!

It was so amazing to spend Youth Homelessness Matters day with so many incredible young people. We are so lucky to know you all and so lucky to have your beautiful art on our wall

Youth homelessness matters every single day to us and we have workers at the deck every Wednesday during the school term from 2:30pm if you ever need help or someone to talk to. We always have food, clothes, toiletries and period products and other essentials at the Deck so please come along to our Wednesday afternoon drop ins if you ever need any of those things

You’re not alone. You all matter and you all deserve the world 🌈💓💥💜

Youth Homelessness Matters Day is tomorrow, and Youth Week kicks off on Thursday, and we’re here for it! 🙌

To mark the occasion, we’re inviting young people in Port Stephens to join us for a special mural painting workshop tomorrow. Come along, get creative, and be part of something meaningful 🎨

There’ll also be plenty of yummy food, plus clothing and care packs available on the day.

If you'd like to come along, all you need to do is call or text one of the numbers on the flyer to let us know. We’d love to see you there!

Happy New Year to all of our wonderful Deck young people!!!

To start the year, we were lucky enough to secure a grant from the NSW Government for some amazing activities this school holidays!

We will have an acitivity on each Tuesday so you've got something to do every week if you'd like!

On the 13th we're going to the movies to see Zootopia 2
On the 20th, we're going to Toboggan hill park in Tomaree
On the 27th we're going to lakeside pool for the day and will have plenty of snacks and yummy food and drinks at each one

If you'd like to come along to any of the activities, please let us know! All of the information is on the flyers below as well as the contact details for Jordyn and Kelly 😀🤩

If you're aged between 12 and 17 and would like to come along to any of these activities, please message Jordyn or Kelly ASAP to secure your spot! Spots for each are limited so please get in touch as soon as possible so you don't miss out

All activities are completely free and all include food and water 🥳✨💫🎉

Sorry lovely people but we are closed today for staff training!!! We will miss you all but we will be back next week for Christmas crafts and delicious food so hopefully we will see you then 🙂✨🎄🤶

Hey Deck fam!!! This is on today, 10-2pm at the Raymond terrace seniors citizens hall! We’re all set up and ready with a few of our teams here on site. We’ve got some last minute spots, come on down at 9.45 if you’d like to check it out. Morning tea provided!

In the September school holidays The Deck hosted three fantastic activities for the amazing young people in Port Stephens – a movie outing to Scotty’s Cinema, the most incredible and fun Dolphin Cruise with Moonshadow Cruises, and a hands on creative graffiti art workshop with the Up&Up crew at The Deck!

We’re so thankful for the support of the NSW Government School Break grants, which make these opportunities possible for local young people. This funding made such a huge impact and we are so grateful to have created so many incredible new memories

Today is our Halloween Party!!!!!!

2:30pm-5:30pm Halloween is coming to The Deck! It’s going to be fun and slightly scary (but mostly fun)!!!!
We’ll have heaps of lollies and snacks and we’ll be doing some baking and playing some Halloween games
We’ll be doing our normal pickups from Irrawang and Hunter River but please message Kelly if you need a lift 💀🎃💀🎃💀🎃💀

The Deck is on this afternoon and we have aircon!
Come and escape the heat with us and eat some yummy food and relax in the aircon
To help us get through this heatwave, we'll be ordering Dominoes and eating ice blocks and watching a movie and staying cool inside
Don't forget we also have wifi to complete your perfect heatwave afternoon!

We'll be there from 2:30-5:30 - hopefully see you there! 🤩🥳🥸🥰

Tomorrow The Deck is back open and we are having a back to school party!!!!!!!!!!!

We're going to have some games and delicious food and we might have a visit from some little ferret friends

Tomorrow is our final school holiday activity and we're hoping to see so many of your amazing faces there!

We still have quite a few spots left for the movies tomorrow so please message Kelly on 0498118335 if you'd like to come! Thanks to the Office for Youth from the NSW Government, we have rented out a whole cinema at Scotty's just for us! We'd like to fill it so if you want to watch a movie for free, sit in the aircon and eat free popcorn with your free drink, please send us a message!

We'll be meeting at Scotties at 10am 🥳

We have got soooo much fun stuff happening this school holidays and we’re so lucky to have gotten some amazing funding from the NSW government to take all of our amazing Deckies on some adventures!

Unfortunately the Dolphin cruise filled up SUPER quickly by some incredibke young people but we’ve got 2 more activities next week that have spaces - get in contact asap if you’d like to come to the art workshop or the movies 💥🙂🌈💓
