The North Queensland Rifle Association (NQRA) is a collective group of Target Rifle, F Class and Sporter Production shooting clubs across Northern Queensland, Australia.

Congratulations to Cooper Wilde from the Bowen-Collinsville Rifle Club, for being selected for the Australian Under 25 ICFRA Pairs and the Australia Match in October in Belmont.

With long range shooting not been part of the Commonwealth Games, the ICFRA Pairs Matches is highest competition in Target Rifle worldwide.

Not bad for our North Queensland star, only 17 years old.

On 10 & 11 August the National Veterans Teams Matches were shot at the Belmont Shooting Complex. NQRA field 3 teams: TR, F Standard and F Open.

The F Open team won Match 2 and the Match 1 and Match 2 aggregate, making them the National F Open Veterans champions.
BJ Oliver coached by Phil Bonaventura was the best shooter.

Congratulations to BJ and his team in this great achievement.
