What a great day of shooting we had in Ravenshoe yesterday at the inaugural Ravenshoe Anzac Shoot!

It was fun and everybody had a great time. Even the rain hold off finally, leaving a sunny day with mainly light winds but pretty tricky.
Most of the Service Rifle guys got it tough at the 500yds to keep their bullets on the targets, but they did try hard and still kept smiling😆

In Service John Anderson dominated the 300yds ranges, but couldn't hit the target twice at the 500yds, where only James Gowan and Alex Tessieri didn't get a miss.

In Sporter Production, Steve Madsen won the first 300yds and showed everybody that when you can really shoot it doesn't matter for how long you haven't shot! Gail Christie broke in in her new gun nicely, winning the second 300yds, but couldn't beat husband Eric at the 500yds.

In Sporter Open Lucas didn't loose a point in any of the ranges, but miss gold in the second 300yds by a high performance by Thaniel Cloake with only one centre shy of the maximum score of 50.10. Not bad Thaniel for your first ever competition 👏

Aggregate winners are as follow:

1st place - John Anderson 120.7
2nd place - Alex Flectcher 110.1
3rd place - Alex Tessieri 105

✍️🟢🟡 SIGN OUR PETITION 🟢🟡✍️

The Albanese Labor Government thinks the Bondi Terror Attack was caused by guns.

It wasn’t the gun that pulled the trigger, it was Islamic Extremism, which has festered for too long in our suburbs.

It is critical that you sign our petition to protect the rights of law-abiding firearm holders, like myself, from the legislation being debated early next week.
