A fabulous walk at Highfields Falls yesterday full of great company & bird abundance .
Highlights were a large flock of Bellbirds ( Bell Miners) Whipbirds , Eastern Yellow Robin a proud Rufous Fantail parents and Spangled Drongos 🤩

Wednesdays Ravensbourne hike was pleasantly cool & had a small heart starter at the top of the hill before taking in the Cedar Circuit…
There were lots of birds including a large flock of Black Faced Monarch in the iconic fig at Gus Buetel lookout .
Our mascot Bundy enjoyed keeping the group together and cheese sandwiches at the end thanks to Sandy🐕

Yesterdays walk at Bullockys Rest took in the Applegum walk and Monteviga tracks . There were many many moments of awe with red backed fairy wrens, variegated fairy wren, noisy friar birds, crested pigeons, lorikeets, Bronzewing pigeons. There was also an abundance of flowers including bottlebrush, Little Hakea, flannel flowers, Wild May … Great to see good numbers, new members and more fellas getting out and enjoying too. Coffee thanks to Country Coffee van and a surprise birthday orange cake and Sandy’s famous sandwiches 😍
