State Ball 2026! 💃🕺

Kingborough Huon members attended the Rural Youth State Ball this past weekend at Cataract on Patersons in Launceston. The night was filled with laughter and plenty of silly dance moves, but the most exciting part of the evening were the awards.

Kingborough Huon were announced the Top Club of the year! This is a true testament to the clubs members and their contribution to the local community. We couldn’t be prouder!

Here’s to our future contribution and involvement to our community 🤩

Kingborough Huon Rural Youth would like to say a massive thank you to you all for your support at the Huon Agricultural Show yesterday! A huge well done to all the volunteers and especially our KH members for putting on such an amazing show!

🌾 2025 FUNDRAISER RAFFLE 🌾

Kingborough Huon Rural Youth are back again with the annual Huon Agricultural Show Raffle.

This year we have some awesome prizes up for grabs! Tickets are valued at $5 each or 3 for $12 or 5 for $20 and will be sold at our animal nursery.

1st Prize: 2 person Pennicott Wilderness Cruise Voucher valued at $360

2nd Prize: $100 Honey Pot Voucher

3rd Prize: $100 Huon Aquaculture Voucher

4th Prize: $50 Better Performance Margate Voucher

The winners of the raffle will be announced at 3:00pm at our animal nursery and will be announced on our page.

🐶 DOG HIGH JUMP 🐶

Kingborough - Huon Rural Youth is back again with their dog high jump competition at the Huon Agricultural Show 2025!!

Welcoming along all pooches to have some fun and win some prizes!

For those who are unfamiliar with dog high jump competitions, we have two categories: Small dogs (under 16 inches or younger than 6 months) and Large dogs (over 16 inches). Each dog gets three attempts at each height, being eliminated if unable to successfully jump over the boards. Owners will have the option to retire their dogs at any stage, or can choose to skip a height if they feel they will be able to clear the height with easy.

Entries are now open!!
Contact the club page with your name, phone number, dogs name, and category. Entries can also be made on the day at the Kingborough - Huon Rural Youth stand at the animal nursery. Cash or card payments will also be made on the day.

Kingborough Huon Rural Youth will be raffling off a trailer load of fire wood at the Huon Agricultural Show 2025. Come via the animal nursery and purchase a ticket for $5, 3 for $12 or 5 for $20. We can’t wait to see you all there!

🛞UTE COMPETITION 🛞

Kingborough - Huon Rural Youth’s Ute competition is back better than before at the Huon Agricultural Show 2025!!

Categories included: 4WD, Street Ute, Vintage, and BNS.

Entries can be made by contacting the club page with your name, phone number, and category you wish to enter. Entries can also be made on the day at the Huonville High School at 10:00am. The entrants will convoy from the school to the Showgrounds leaving at 10:45am for a start time of 11:00am. Winners will be announced at 2:00pm and entrants will have the option to participate in the shows grand parade.

This year’s competition is proudly sponsored by Lucas Transport Services Tasmania who have donated amazing prizes which can be won in each category.

Kingborough Huon Rural Youth cannot wait to see you all there!
